KCDC was established in April, 2005 AD. Since then KCDC has implemented about 34 development and humanitarian projects related to Health, Nutrition, Education, WASH, Agriculture, Livelihood, Livestock, Renewable Energies and other community promotion projects.

This organization shall be a non-profit making, people-welfare organization.
To assist to promote the community towards sustainable livelihood, to conduct professional training based on agricultural and non-agricultural fields, to develop a modern agricultural system, and to assist in poverty alleviation
To conduct various programs related to education and health in remote and undeveloped areas and to uplift the educational and the health condition of community people
To assist in the conservation and security of the natural resources
To assist in the protection of environment

The KCDC, based on the remote district Mugu and familiar with the working situation in the hill and mountain districts of Nepal, has good working experience in the district and have good records on successfully completion of projects and program in collaboration with different organization.
